Diptych #7 – Violet

Saj and I are in the last week of the ROYGBIV assignment for our diptych project. Violet is an elusive color, but Saj managed to find it on a familiar friend:

53/365 Buzz

And, oh look! Penny (our new puppy! – Matte said YES) has a violet-ish collar. How convenient!

We’ll be back next week with who knows what. If you have suggestions for a diptych project, let me know in the comments.

Help me convince my husband

…that this sweet little girl needs to come live with us. I think she’s a shih-tzu/maltese mix, but I’m not sure. She’s around 4 months old, I think? All I know is she is so freaking cute and I’m a person who loves BIG dogs. But this one has won me over completely. I’m therefore wh0ring for comments to help me state my case. GAH she’s so cute I cannot stand it! And aren’t you all sick of cat pictures?

Diptych #6 – Indigo

In case you’re just joining us, my sister-in-law Sarah (Saj) and I are shooting a photo a day this year, and for extra motivation, we’re doing diptychs every week. Great minds really do think alike, as you can see below. (I swear we didn’t call each other!)

This week in the ROYGBIV spectrum, we say hello to Indigo.

First up, Saj’s take:

And mine:

If you’re interested in seeing the rest of the 365 project, Saj’s photos are here. Mine are here.

Next week is violet and then we need to think of some new assignments. Feel free to offer suggestions in the comments!

Diptych #5: Blue

In our fifth installment of the diptych project, we visit blue.

First, blue from Saj with bonus blue in Caden’s eyes. How cute is HE?

My take on blue is Matte’s favorite hat:

Next week is indigo. Can someone tell me the difference between indigo and blue? Thanks.

Diptych #4: Going Green

This week’s diptych is brought to you by the color green. And now, without further ado:

Saj gives us the world’s most famous frog:
32/365 It's not easy being green

This is a perfume bottle from Egypt that my friend Rachel gave me:

Next week in the rainbow we visit blue. You can bet mine won’t be a sky photo because it WILL NOT STOP RAINING.
