I liked your previous entry about wrestling with the bureaucracy. When I had to get a passport, I feared getting stuck in all-day lineups. I found out when the office opened - 8 a.m. - and showed up at 6:30 a.m. I was fourth in line. When the doors opened, it took me 10 minutes from start to finish. As I walked out, I passed a lineup clear down the stairs and out the door. The attendant said most of them would be there till close of business.
