Gross

Is this not gross? It’s the cover of Matte’s special edition The Evil Dead DVD. I saw it on the shelf and found it utterly disgusting, so I knew it would fit this week’s theme of gross. I shot this fabulous piece of art last night. Today, a bird deposited a huge doo on my windshield. Unfortunately I didn’t have a camera with me (oddly enough) and thus, you are spared a photo of bird poop, and get to enjoy this grossness instead.

    That is disturbing. I’ve thought of joining Photo Hunters too, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed enough with SPF! Especially when I’m being surrounded by people in blue Michael’s aprons!

    Welcome to the hunt! My husband has that exact same movie with the cover and yes it is gross, it even feels gross with it’s rubbery grossness.

    Welcome to the Photo Hunt.
    So does this have a texture to it as well? Sometimes one of the senses is more “grossed out” than others. I can look at gross things and not have a problem, but smelling it…. that does me in. I guess I should be grateful for chronic sinusitis. If this feels as gross as it looks, then ….. yuck!

    I think they’ve run out of ideas to use for covers and now are coming out with stuff like this…YUCK!! Very gross indeed!! Mine is up:-)

    I am drawn to the texture on this image. Yes, it’s hideous. But I’m almost inclined to rub my monitor in the vain hope that I’ll be able to feel the thing with my fingertips. I love this image!

    I thought it was a face on a tree. Better than bird poop though. Good picture.
