1. My company is cutting costs which will have an impact on my paycheck. This may seem like Not a Good Thing, but if it helps keep my job, sign me up.

Re: your number 1… I heard today that us managers are being asked to take 8 hours off a month to cut salary costs. An unpaid day off probably won’t hurt my account but not having a job would.
