The honeymoon is over, literally
And here it is in a (macadamia) nut shell:
10: Days in Hawaii
9: Times I ate seafood (including ahi, ono, o’pakapaka, and mahi mahi)
8: Umbrella’d Blue Hawaii cocktails
7: Bathing suits I took on my honeymoon (but I only wore two of them)
6: Days in Kona, Hawaii
5: Pounds I gained
4: Days on the island of Maui
3: Days in a row I ate the same incredibly delicious salad at the Hotel Hana-Maui (baby greens with papaya, mango, pineapple, and strawberries, topped with chopped macadamia nuts, tossed with vanilla vinaigrette – YUM)
2: Convertibles rented — a brand new Audi A4 on Maui and a Toyota Solara on the Big Island
1: Awesome honeymoon with my new husband
I have hundreds of photos I’m still sifting through, and they’re making their way to flickr at a sea turtle’s pace. But right now I have to finish unpacking, and do a ton of laundry, as I re-introduce myself to real life. A few cups of Kona coffee should help with that.
[sigh] I shall miss that vista pictured above but will treasure the time we spent together… until we go back. 🙂
Love you!!!!
WIFE!!!!

That sounds like an awesome, and warm honeymoon. I’m a mite jealous, since winter is starting to bite here. Michele and I wish you a long and happy marriage.
Sounds wonderful. My wife and I did out honeymoon in Hawaii (22 years ago!) and the memories are still special. And Kona coffee is fabulous!!!
That salad sounds incredible and so is that photo.
Ah Hawaii…I’d love to go there someday.
Michele says Hi 🙂
It sounds like an awesome trip! (Give me a moment while I live vicariously through you…. ahhhh.) Congratulations and best wishes on your marriage!!!
Sounds like a wonderful honeymoon! I love your photos too. Hawaii is almost like a different world, isn’t it?
I hope the transition back to the real world is not too difficult. 🙂
What a beautiful picture. Sounds like you had a great trip! I want to go to Hawaii some day.
