When he went out, it looked somewhat like this. Boxes, clutter, general state of angst-inducing unsettledness:

And I didn’t just hide everything in the garage. I actually PUT IT AWAY. When he walked in, the only light was the one emitting from the TV. As he flipped the switch to see the big reveal, he said “do we live here?”
