an Apple a day

I just saw the new Apple “Virsues” ad that aired during The Late Show with David Letterman. I went to Apple’s site to watch the other installments because I am a Mac-loving geek. Lo and behold, the videos on Apple’s site didn’t play. That’s right. On my Mac, the Apple ads in Quicktime would not play.

Lucky for you, I solved the problem and am sharing the solution with you, my loyal readers. If you’re using Firefox (you are, right?) and you have Adblock installed (you do, right?) disable it before trying to watch the ads.

Watch the clever, yet oh so simple commericals here.

Those are really cute, especially the one with the “japanese camera”. But psst I still love my PC enough to keep it at the office.

Drat, I was hoping you’d solved my problem of suddenly not being able to watch new Quicktime movies these days! I have a PC and use Firefox but I don’t have Adblock installed. I do have that Firefox pop-up window blocking feature, but that doesn’t come up when I try and watch Quicktime movies. So I guess that isn’t the problem. Shoot, back to the drawing board.
