Actually, my mom got a chia-head as a Christmas present for someone once. That was shortly after the time when he had eaten WAY too much sushi and had a dream that there was grass growing out of his head.
The other day I saw a Garfield Chia pet for sale. I thought about buying it. Then I regained my senses.
There must be people who buy them. They would never have lasted this long.
I have no idea who those people might be. And I don’t think I want to know.
i think we were guilty early in our marriage when we gave a chia pet to an elderly relative. we were young and naive, and that poor woman must have grinned and “buried” it.
